The session will highlight specific innovations and businesses developed by actuaries who make up that increasingly diverse group—what they do and how they got to where they are.

The Tools, Technology, Trials and Tribulations of Managing from Afar
The best clients, business partners and/or employees are not necessarily in your geography, but that should not be a barrier to doing business with or hiring those individuals or entities. This session explores the latest tools and how to better leverage and exploit use of current tools to optimize management of your remote connections. Challenges faced by entrepreneurs in hiring and managing will be discussed, though such challenges should have cross-over appeal to those who may not necessarily view themselves as “entrepreneurs.”
