About the Health Community

The SOA Health Community brings together professionals dedicated to advancing actuarial practice in health and long-term care. Formed by uniting the former Health Section and Long-Term Care Insurance Section, it offers a unified space for collaboration, innovation, and leadership.

Purpose Statement

To foster a vibrant network of actuaries focused on health and long-term care by delivering high-quality education, supporting influential research, and encouraging leadership and engagement across all career stages.
