Intersector Group

The Intersector Group is composed of two delegates from each of the following actuarial organizations: American Academy of Actuaries, Society of Actuaries, Conference of Consulting Actuaries, and ASPPA College of Pension Actuaries. Twice a year the Intersector Group meets separately with representatives of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) and the U.S. Department of Treasury (Treasury Department) / Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to dialogue with them on regulatory and other issues affecting pension practice.

The SOA Retirement Section Council makes the Intersector Group meeting notes available on our website as a service for our members. The publishing of these notes does not imply an endorsement of the conclusions or guidance discussed.
