Proposal Submission Criteria
Subject
Sessions must be educational, informative and represent all practice levels. Please reference the Session Proposals Criteria prepared for the 2026 meetings.
In-person or Virtual?
You can choose to present at the in-person meeting, virtual meeting or both! All sessions for the meetings will be 60 minutes. The Health Planning Committee also encourages submissions that can be viewed as a series of two sessions. Think of these sessions as two 60-minute sessions that follow a part one and part two structure. The series must reflect a theme or a unified set of topics. If you are interested in a two-part series submission, please submit two proposals and clearly list part one and part two in the titles. The session length for each proposal should be listed as 60 minutes.
Presenters
Include preferred presenter names in your proposal submission. Presenters should represent a breadth of concepts and perspectives, as must be from a variety of companies (minimum two). Sessions should not be considered a forum for any individual company or product. Submissions with diverse presenters identified will be prioritized during the review process. Presenter recruitment will begin immediately after sessions are approved.
Deadline
Session proposals must be submitted by January 12, 2026, to be considered for the 2026 SOA Health Meetings. Please complete the submission form in its entirety.
Note: Submitting a proposal does not guarantee selection as a session for the 2026 SOA Health Meetings. You will be notified the week of February 23, 2026, if your proposal has been selected as is, or it may be combined with similar/related proposal(s). The planning committee reserves the right to decline any proposal if it is determined the topic is not a fit for this year’s program.
