In 2023, the SOA Board of Directors created the Societal Purpose Committee to broaden the strategic work of the SOA, and further drive and recognize how the actuarial profession serves society and extends to the communities and world around us. This webcast will highlight recent activities of the committee and seek feedback from attendees on ways to further the societal purpose of actuaries across a variety of practice areas.
