2024 Health Meeting - Session 6G: A GUIDE to CMS's New Dementia Model 6.25.24 Recording

In July of 2024, CMS will start operations on its new GUIDE model, designed to support people living with dementia and their unpaid caregivers. GUIDE is a TIN-centered model, offering a standardized approach to care with the goal of allowing people with dementia to remain in their homes for longer and improving their quality of life. In this session, we will discuss how the GUIDE model works on both a financial and operational basis. We will also discuss how the GUIDE model can be leveraged for other lines of business such as Medicare Advantage, and how it can be leveraged to support conditions beyond dementia. Attendees will develop a deeper understanding of the GUIDE model and its potential broader market impacts.
