2024 Health Meeting - Session 7A: Group Long Term Disability Experience Committee Update 6.25.24 Recording

This session is intended to provide an update on past, current, and future studies done by the SOA GLTD Experience Committee. This includes an update on the ongoing Group LTD Incidence Survey including the nature of the study, goals, timelines, data submissions, and current status. It will also present a history of Group LTD studies done by the SOA GTLD committee including major results (e.g. 1987, 1995, 2008 and related surveys), trends, and conclusions. Finally, expect to discuss opportunities for future studies including refreshing the 2019 GLTD Termination A/E and ideas being considered for other studies, e.g. LTD offset study, new LTD valuation standard, and other studies or surveys related to group disability products, e.g. Short Term Disability, PFML, or Absence/Leave Products.
