Geet Maurya, FSA, FRM, brings over 15 years of experience and diverse expertise to the forefront of risk management within the general insurance (GI) industry. As a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) specializing in GI and a financial risk manager (FRM), he possesses a comprehensive understanding of pricing, reserving and model validation, applicable across various markets in India and abroad.
He is a graduate in mathematics and computing from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. This academic rigor, coupled with a keen interest in risk management, led him to pursue actuarial science and financial risk management.
Through his career, he has worked at leading insurance companies including ICICI Lombard, Inductis and AIG. In his last role at Chubb India, he guided his team in developing accurate and insightful reserving practices, ensuring financial stability and informed decision-making.
He is joining this role with mission to put the spotlight on the actuarial profession in India and establish the profession as a leading career across India.
