Future Equity Patterns and Baby Boomer Retirements

Research Projects in Finance/Investment

The Society of Actuaries Committee on Finance Research is pleased to make available a research report that explores the impact on financial assets as baby boomers enter into retirement. The authors conducted a literature search and then a detailed analysis of two papers supporting the theory demographic factors can have an impact on asset prices. The report was authored by Douglas Andrews, Jaideep Oberoi, Kathleen Rybczynski, and Pradip Tapadar.
