Introduction
The Society of Actuaries Aging and Retirement Strategic Research issued a call for essays to explore long-term services and supports from a variety of actuarial perspectives as it relates to aging and retirement. The collection includes three essays that were accepted for publication from all submissions. Two essays were chosen for awards based on their creativity, originality, and promotion of further thought in this area.
