Description: Reinsurance discussions around blocks of long-term care (LTC) have been going on for years without many deals being consummated. However, in 2023 the action picked up and we saw the largest inforce LTC reinsurance deal ever announced. Will this open the floodgates to more LTC deals? This webinar will provide background on legacy LTC blocks, the challenges they have faced, and why they may be now ripe for transactions. We will explore views from both buyers and sellers. The webinar will examine how sellers can best position their LTC blocks for a transaction. We will also look at the motivations of buyers and what might be drawing them to LTC blocks now.
