This report on intercompany mortality experience by amount of insurance under standard individually underwritten issues includes policy years 2004-05. The purpose of this report is to present an overview of mortality results relative to the 2001 Valuation Basic Tables and present some comparisons to the prior 2002-2004 study period. Consistent with prior reports, the study is performed on a gross basis without consideration of reinsurance. Includes three zipped files containing Excel pivot tables that provide more detail of the data summarized in the report.

Description: This is the sixth Intercompany Study of Long–Term Care Insurance. This report combines and analyzes data received from 35 insurers that agreed to provide information to further the knowledge of long–term care insurance. The study includes policies issued between January 1, 1984 and December 31, 2007.
