Zain leads the strategic initiatives to advance the actuarial profession as the Regional Director of the Society of Actuaries across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia. Zain is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and has an Executive MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.

Sai Sravanthi Mylavarapu, Associate Director, PwC India
Sravanthi is an Associate Director working in the actuarial division of PwC India, Risk Advisory team. She brings with her 8.5 years of actuarial work experience in the life insurance industry. She is currently leading IFRS17 implementation projects for major Indian insurance clients, developing methodology and design considerations, including building standard compliant models for reporting. In her previous experience, she worked extensively on prophet modelling of complex life insurance products and on business planning activities that included PAT, NBM and solvency forecast and their variance analysis. Prior to that she worked on local statutory and US GAAP valuations for a life reinsurer. She completed her BE Mechanical Engineering from University College of Engineering, Osmania, Hyderabad and MSc in Actuarial Science from Cass Business School, London. On a personal front, she has a passion for Indian Carnatic music and enjoys reading nonfiction in her leisure time.
Megan Gauer, Manager, Deloitte
Megan is a Manager in Deloitte’s Actuarial and Insurance Solutions practice. She has been with the firm and in the life insurance and annuity space for eight years. Megan supports a wide variety of consulting and audit clients and has been involved in Deloitte’s actuarial modernization offerings as well as LDTI, which has been a driver of the modernization activity in the marketplace. Megan is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
Charu Gupta, Senior Manager, Deloitte
Charu is a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Actuarial and Insurance Solutions practice and has experience in life insurance valuation and risk consulting.
She leads the life actuarial practice in India and engagements linked to product development, regulatory requirements, modelling, valuation audits, financial analytics and reporting. She has assisted many companies in adoption of IFRS17 and helped management to assess methodologies, processes and tools in their implementation journey.
Rohit Jain, Principal Director, Actuarial at Accenture India
Rohit Jain is a Principal Director – Actuarial at Accenture India, leading the Actuarial Centre of Excellence for Life and Retirement services. With more than 21 years of experience, Rohit has successfully scaled actuarial capabilities for many Global Capability Centers in India, supporting clients across the UK, US, Bermuda, and APAC. He has worked with insurance firms, including Accenture, Aon, Willis Towers Watson, Marsh McLennan and Prudential, bringing deep expertise in pricing, valuation, modeling, and reinsurance.
Rohit holds a master’s in management from IIT Kharagpur and a bachelor’s in engineering from NIT Raipur. An Associate Actuary with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA), UK, he also plays a key role in the professional development of India's actuarial community through his involvement in the US Society of Actuaries' India Action Task Force. His leadership has driven modernization and operational excellence across actuarial functions, delivering consistent and profitable client solutions.
