For actuaries, the greatest barrier in the highest levels of insurance and consulting organizations is the lack of strong leadership and management skills. Studies show that while professionals typically take on management responsibilities within 10 years after starting their careers, they may not receive any formal training for 5-10 years after that. This puts them at a great disadvantage in managing their teams, in the short run, and becoming high-level leaders, in the long run.
The Leadership and Management Skills Workshop is for mid-career actuaries who aspire to rise into C-suite roles. It is designed to focus on the critical leadership and management skills needed for actuaries to excel in high-level roles with an emphasis on practical application of these skills. Participants will walk away with the ability to apply new skills and approaches right away to improve their opportunities for advancement into key leadership roles.
The program is broken into two related, but independent, modules. The Business Execution Module includes a variety of highly interactive sessions on topics such as leadership competencies, business execution, strategic planning, and building a high-performance culture.
Join us for this in-depth workshop as part of your career-long professional development.
