Why is the SOA making changes to the existing Predictive Analytics Certificate Program?
To make professional development resources easier to access, the Predictive Analytics modules are now available through the Professional Development Edge+ (PD Edge+).
With a PD Edge+ subscription, you’ll gain access to high-quality, dynamic professional development content, including all live webcasts and over 1,000 pieces of on-demand learning materials, such as recordings from past conferences.
PD Edge+ Includes:
- All Live Webcasts – 70+ sessions offered annually
- Recordings of Live Webcasts – 350+ recordings from the past three years, available within five (5) business days after airing
- Conference Recordings – 600+ sessions from major meetings, including ImpACT, Health, Life, and ValAct

What are the specific changes to the Predictive Analytics Certificates?
The format of the program is changing while the content stays the same. Instead of having access to Predictive Analytics e-learning modules and bundles separately, you’ll be able to get access to all twelve modules with a subscription to PD Edge +. The final assessments will no longer be offered and there is no longer a formal opportunity to earn a certificate. However, if you choose to, you’ll be able to download proof of completion for each module when you complete an end-of-module test.
When are the changes taking place?
The Predictive Analytics Certificates are no longer available after November 8, 2025. You will be able to access the modules in PD Edge+ in January 2026.
How do I gain access to the modules through PD Edge+?
If you are a current PD Edge+ subscriber, simply sign in to your My SOA account. Check with your employer to see if your company purchased PD Edge+. If not, you can either purchase the Corporate or Individual subscription here.

How long will I have access to the Predictive Analytics modules through PD Edge +?
The PD Edge + subscription is valid for a year from the date of purchase.
What if my employer already has a PD Edge + subscription?
You will have access to the modules as soon as they are transferred by mid-December 2025. Log in to your My SOA account to start exploring.
What do Predictive Analytics/ Advanced Predictive Analytics modules in PD Edge + look like?
Each module is self-paced with an end-of-module test. Each module contains approximately 30 hours of content. It is suggested that you go through the modules in order for the best learning experience. If you already know the material, you are free to skip some modules.
Do I need to finish the Predictive Analytics modules to be able to take the Advanced Predictive Analytics modules?
No. The Predictive Analytics modules are not a pre-requisite for the Advanced Predictive Analytics modules. However, you should have some previous knowledge of predictive analytics to be successful. Before you start, read the description of each module so you know what background knowledge is required.
How different are Predictive Analytics modules in PD Edge + from the modules in the Certificate?
The content is unchanged. The same material is presented in the same format.
Will I be able to get a Predictive Analytics Certificate after I complete all the modules in PD Edge +?
There is no final assessment in the PD Edge +, so there is no certificate issued upon completion. You will be able to download proof of completion for each module, after you successfully pass the end-of-module test.
I’m an international participant, and I was able to get an international discount for the Predictive Analytics Certificates in the past. Can I get this discount now?
No. A better value is available by accessing the modules through PD Edge+, which also gives you access to a much broader selection of content. See the answer to the first question above for more details.
I purchased individual Predictive Analytics modules in the past and would like to continue. I cannot purchase new modules on the website. What do I do?
You need to purchase PD Edge+ subscription to get access to new modules. You will continue to have access to all the modules you currently have once you are in PD Edge+.
I purchased a Predictive Analytics bundle before November 8, 2025, and I’d like to add an assessment now.
