The SOA Predictive Analytics Certificate Programs have refreshed content that provides hands-on practical instruction with a level of rigor consistent with current SOA credentials. The original program has been refreshed and the Advanced Predictive Analytics Certificate program was introduced in 2023 to provide additional models, more techniques in model evaluation and explanation, and an ethical framework for using data and models. Actuaries will learn in-depth knowledge on predictive modeling and data analytics and can earn either the:
- ✓ Predictive Analytics Certificate by completing eight refreshed modules and an assessment OR the
- ✓ NEW Advanced Predictive Analytics Certificate by completing four advanced modules and an assessment. While knowledge from the Predictive Analytics Certificate (previous or refreshed) is assumed, earning that certificate is not a pre-requisite.
The Predictive Analytics Certificate Program requirements include:
- Completion of eight e-Learning modules via e-Learning. Participants should plan to spend approximately 30 hours of study time per module.
The NEW Advanced Predictive Analytics Certificate requirements include:
- Completion of four e-Learning modules via e-Learning. Participants should plan to spend approximately 30 hours of study time per module.
