The Society of Actuaries (SOA) welcomes Rose Fealy as new Chief Administrative and Financial Officer –

Schaumburg, IL, Jan. 31, 2022 – The Society of Actuaries (SOA) welcomes Rose Fealy as new Chief Administrative and Financial Officer, effective February 21.

The Society of Actuaries has hired Rose Fealy as its new Chief Administrative and Financial Officer. She will join the association February 21, 2022.

From 2015 to 2021, Fealy served as Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer for the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. She has also served as a Principal for the Civic Consulting Alliance of Chicago, a non-profit management consulting firm focused on making Chicago a better place to live in and work. Previously, she served as Vice President and General Manager for ACCERO, a leading licensed software and professional services company formed in 2008 as a spin-off of Hewitt Associates’ HR-related software business. As a senior financial executive, she has managed pension plan mergers and terminations as well as enterprise risk processes.

In her new role at the SOA, Fealy will lead the SOA’s new Administration and Finance Division. Four key areas of operations will report to her: Finance and Facilities, ITS, Human Resources, and Customer Service. She will be a member of the SOA’s executive team and will assume staff lead responsibility for such key Board committees as Finance, Audit/Risk, and supporting the Leadership Team on compensation and benefits matters. Fealy will also assume oversight of the employee 403(b) retirement plan and leadership of its Investment Plan Committee.

Outside of work, Fealy serves as a trustee of Kenyon College in Gambier, OH, and as chair of the Campus and Finance Committee for the school. She is currently co-chairing Kenyon’s $500M “Our Path Forward” Capital Campaign. She volunteers as a strategic advisor for the Chicago Children’s Choir, is a member of the International Women’s Forum of Chicago and is a founding partner of the Social Venture Partners group of Chicag
