Emerging Risks Survey

Research Projects – Risk Management

The Casualty Actuarial Society, Canadian Institute of Actuaries, and the Society of Actuaries' Joint Risk Management Section is pleased to make available a research report describing the results of an Emerging Risks Survey conducted in November 2008. The report, authored by Max J. Rudolph of Rudolph Financial Consulting LLC, includes comparisons to a previous survey sent to INARM members in April 2008.

The survey incorporated a set of Emerging Risks defined by the World Economic Forum as the basis for several of the questions. The survey also included several questions related to modeling and metrics as well as current risk management topics.
