Ben discusses that there are two main types: immediate annuities, which start payments right away, and deferred annuities, which delay payments. He then goes on to discuss immediate annuities include lifetime, certain only, certain and life, and joint and survivor annuities, each offering different payment structures and durations. He dives into these structures to give the viewer an intro level on options on annuities.
