SOA Education & Research Awards
SOA is now offering two awards for self-nomination. The SOA Actuarial Science Early Career Research Award that has been offered since 2021, and the inaugural SOA Outstanding Educator Award. Each has unique eligibility requirements that are outlined on their respective webpages.
The Early Career Research Award recognizes individuals for their exceptional scientific contributions in actuarial science at the early stages of their academic career. Learn more if you are within ten years from the start of your first full-time academic appointment including a post-doctoral position.
The Outstanding Educator Award aims to recognize the contribution of an influential educator in the field of actuarial science. Learn more if your primary job has been in education for at least ten years and you are still actively working.
