The panel is a diverse group of actuarial educators discussing issues related to creating and maintaining an actuarial science program at various sized universities. The primary focus of the session will be the new Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) designation by the Society of Actuaries. There will also be a discussion about possibly organizing an MAA Special Interest Group on Actuarial Education. The session (but not other parts of the JMM such as the exhibits) is open to interested professional and academics in the area without special registration.
