Message One
Dear Members of the Society of Actuaries,
I am seeking reelection to the SOA Board of Directors, and I sincerely appreciate your consideration.
Allow me to share a bit about my background. I have had the privilege of building a rewarding career in the actuarial profession, progressing through roles of increasing responsibility in both the private and public sectors. Throughout this time, I have remained deeply committed to the values of integrity, technical excellence, and collaboration—values that I also bring to my volunteer work with the SOA.
For over 15 years, I have proudly served on the SOA’s Education Committee, contributing specifically to the FSA retirement track exams. Most recently, during my current three-year term on the SOA Board of Directors, I have actively engaged in leadership and governance. I have served as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee, and as a member of the Finance Committee, Education Committee, Governance Committee, and as liaison to both YPAC and DEI initiatives. I have deliberately sought out broad committee participation to ensure that I bring diverse insights and balanced judgment to every decision made on behalf of our members.
Looking ahead, I am passionate about several priorities that I believe are critical to the SOA’s future success. We must maintain the highest standards in our education system to ensure our credentials continue to be respected globally. We must thoughtfully integrate artificial intelligence into our delivery model to enhance learning, efficiency, and member value. And we must continue to reshape our Board governance model to position the SOA for agility and accountability in a rapidly evolving world.
If reelected, I will remain focused on being a leader who listens and engages with members, advocates for thoughtful and inclusive decision-making, and works tirelessly to advance our profession every day.
Thank you for considering me for reelection. It would be an honor to continue serving our Society and contributing to its growth and impact.
Message Two
Dear Members of the Society of Actuaries,
I want to take a moment to thank you for your time and engagement during this election period. It has been an honor to share my background, experiences, and vision for the SOA with you.
As you know, the SOA Board of Directors plays a vital role in shaping the future of our profession. Your voice matters, and I encourage you to take the time to cast your vote in this election. Member participation ensures that the Board reflects the diverse perspectives and priorities of our community.
If re-elected, I am committed to continuing to serve as a collaborative and thoughtful leader—one who listens to members, advocates for decisions that advance our profession, and helps position the SOA for long-term success. Together, we can maintain the highest educational standards, embrace innovation, and strengthen the governance of our Society.
Thank you again for your support. I would be grateful for your vote and the opportunity to continue volunteering in this role. Let’s work together to advance the SOA and our profession.

Questionnaire
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND AND VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE: Provide a brief description of your professional background and the type of work you have performed. Please include SOA and non-SOA volunteer and governing experiences including collaborative leadership. Explain how these experiences have prepared you as an Elected Board Member and qualify you in carrying out the strategic direction of the SOA.
I work for one of the largest pension plans in the world. I work in the actuarial department but actively work with the risk, audit and compliance departments. Recent projects include adapting AI into the workplace with the IT department, updating the risk KPIs with the risk department and reviewing our audit profiles for our board for the audit department. In my role at work, I report to the board four times a year at board and committee meetings and at ad hoc times in between. I manage a team of actuaries and actuarial students. I stay up to date on the candidate experience and the professional experience of actuaries through interactions with my team.
I have enjoyed my time as a SOA Board member. Having elected board members serve consecutive terms provides continuity and decision-making strength. As a Board member I was motivated to work on as many different committees as possible to get a full understanding of the board's work. I served as the audit and risk chair. I was a member of the education, finance and governance committees. I served as the liaison to YPAC and the DEIC. The variation allows me to understand the SOA better and make my Board decision-making strong.
Before becoming a Board member, I volunteered for the SOA for 17 years in the education department, ending my volunteer time as the Chair of the Retirement exam committee. The education volunteering allowed me to make strong decisions for the SOA Board and stay up to date with the candidate experience.
Volunteering for the SOA has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career and I hope very much to continue as a Board member.
