Fellows and associates who have been SOA members for five years or more can vote in the SOA Board of Directors election. Each year, the following offices are up for election: one president-elect and six Board members .

Section Elections Resources

In section elections, generally one-third of the council is elected each year. Members serve three-year terms. Section Councils select their own officers (chair, vice chair and secretary/treasurer).
