Description: This report is the fifth in a series of studies conducted jointly by LIMRA and the SOA Long-Term Care Experience Committee. The report presents results for industry long-term care insurance (LTCI) persistency. Persistency is examined based on eighteen participating companies reporting lapse, mortality, and total termination activity for calendar years 2000 through 2016. The results of this survey, which was conducted from November 2020 through January 2021, are presented in this report.
