Utilizing experience from 72 facilities, the study developed actuarial decrement rates for mortality, morbidity and withdrawal patterns.

Description: This report represents the second in a series of studies conducted jointly by LIMRA International and the Society of Actuaries Long-Term Care Experience Committee and focuses on recent longterm care insurance industry persistency results. The study examines persistency experience by reporting on changes in both voluntary lapse and total termination activity for all participating companies during calendar years 2002 through 2004.

Description: This report, from the Society of Actuaries [SOA] ‘Experience Studies – Individual Annuities,’ was prepared by the SOA Task Force on Mortality Guarantees in Variable Products. This study of mortality on deferred variable annuities over the period 1991-1995 was designed to test the adequacy of the 1994 MGDB Valuation Mortality Table to cover presumed extra mortality on variable annuities [Vas] with Substantial Minimum Guaranteed Death Benefits [MGDBs] as compared with VAs with Minimal MGDBs. A parallel study of fixed annuity experience was carried out as a control. In addition to report includes a six page document of instructions to participating companies.

Description: This experience study, from the Society of Actuaries [SOA] ‘Experience Studies – Individual Life,’ was conducted by the SOA’s Individual Life Insurance Experience Committee. This report is on intercompany mortality experience by amount of insurance under standard individually underwritten issues, including policy years 2005–07. In the 2002-04 and 2004-05 Studies, the Milliman Extension to the 1975-80 Basic Tables was used. This extended data through issue age 87. For this study, a further extension to issue age 99 was used. This can be found in the spreadsheet titled Issue Age 99 1975-80 Basic Table Extension. Description: This study covers a five-calendar year period, years 2011-2015. Death claims incurred during this five-year period and paid by the data collection date were included. The data was primarily collected during the summer and fall of 2017, which would allow a minimum of 18 months following date of death for a claim to be paid. The study was limited to single premium credit life insurance.
