Heads a team of actuaries and related professionals providing actuarial consulting services in the life, non-life, pensions and banking practice areas.
Consulting/Appointed Actuary to life and non-life insurers operating in the Caribbean and Central/South America with significant focus on IFRS 17 implementation.

Bio
Kyle founded the actuarial services firm KR Consulting in 1997 after being a partner of an international actuarial consultancy, Buck Consultants, and an auditor with Price Waterhouse. He is an expert in the application of international financial reporting and actuarial standards in developing countries and illiquid markets. He frequently speaks internationally on accounting and actuarial topics.
Kyle has worked in multiple financial areas including banking, pensions, social security, health, life and non-life insurance. This prismatic understanding of business issues allows him to communicate complex concepts to clients and provide practical solutions to seemingly intractable problems.
Kyle serves on numerous boards and has been a volunteer for many years including:
- Multiple exam committees of the Society of Actuaries (SOA)
- President and several committees of the Caribbean Actuarial Association (CAA)
- Several committees of the International Actuarial Association (IAA)
- President and several committees of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad & Tobago (ICATT)
- Vice-chairman of the Mayaro Initiative for Private Enterprise Development (MIPED), an international award-winning microfinance NGO for rural small business development
