Description: To raise the profile of members to the InsurTech community and to give actuaries exposure to that world, the Society of Actuaries (SOA) launched Office Hours in 2020. InsurTech companies use it to refine business models and elevator pitches and understand who to contact in an insurance company. In 2021, the SOA hosted virtual sessions in April and October. In each session, 20-30 actuaries met with 15 InsurTech companies for an informal exchange online.
