In Memory of Christine Ann Heim
Christine Heim, FSA, EA, MAAA passed away unexpectedly on August 3, 2020. She spent the last 18 years of her career at Mercer in the retirement practice area. Anyone who had the opportunity to work with Christine knows first-hand her dedication, her tremendous work ethic, her strong mastery over technical content, and her passion and commitment to her clients. Of the many legacies that she leaves behind, at the top of the list are the skills that so many of her team members have acquired under her tutelage and the personal impact that she made on so many colleagues.
After earning an actuarial science degree at Purdue University, Christine began her career at the Segal Company and also worked at PWC. She completed her fellowship in 2009 while raising two small children.
Christine is survived by her husband Christopher, FCAS, and her two teenage sons Ben and Bradley. She loved her boys and was always involved in their school and sports activities. She enjoyed traveling with her family and was able to experience many great places throughout the world.
An actuarial scholarship at Purdue has been established in her memory.
