In the text Essentials of Managed Health Care there is an error on page 513, the text should read “The plan must charge beneficiaries a premium equal to the difference between the plan’s bid and the direct subsidy”.

The first edition of Individual Health Insurance, Bluhm, 2007 is out of print and out of stock. Since this edition is required reading for the Spring 2016 session, the Society of Actuaries has received permission to distribute the required chapters to our candidates ordering the Complete set of study notes.
