After careful consideration, the Society of Actuaries has decided to switch the in-person portion of the 2021 ImpACT Conference to an entirely virtual event, taking place online from October 25-29, 2021. Shape the Future
The 2021 ImpACT Conference theme is “Shape the Future.” Come together to focus on innovation and the opportunities ahead for our profession as the world recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic and works to build a new future. Key volunteers, members and SOA staff, identified the overall idea to drive discussion and meeting content for this event as Demonstrating Relevancy in an Evolving World. It’s a broad, bold future-oriented statement and one we believe should be discussed and debated among members and our related industries.
Four topics were identified to drive the meeting content:

- Safeguarding populations
- Cultivating future opportunities
- Protecting long-term economic progress

Reduced Registration Fees
A partial waiver equal to 50 percent of the SOA member registration fee (excluding all extra-cost activities) is available for SOA members and credential holders who:
- Are full-time academics and Ph.D. candidates, subject to a limit of $2,500 in aggregate partial waivers of meeting fees per calendar year
- Are employed in the government or are unemployed and not eligible for reimbursement, subject to a limit of one continuing education event per calendar year
- Have received a waiver of member dues or credential fees for the calendar year in accordance with the SOA’s dues waiver policy, subject to a limit of one continuing education event per calendar year
In addition, a partial waiver equal to 50 percent of the SOA member registration fee is available for full-time faculty at a CAE school and for SOA Hickman Scholars, subject to a limit of $2,500 in aggregate partial waivers of meeting fees per calendar year.

You will receive an email confirmation of your online order. Mail-in registration confirmations are emailed after the order has been processed. If you do not receive a confirmation, please log in to your account at MY SOA to confirm your order was placed. To request another copy of the confirmation order or to update your registration, please contact SOA Customer Service at email@example.com.
Session selection is not required when initially registering on the SOA’s website. Attendees will select virtual sessions and build their agendas once the virtual platform opens just prior to the event start date.
To ensure inclusion on the attendee list, your online registration must be completed by October 15th.
