People of color in the US have different cultural norms, like hierarchical orientation, relationship orientation, communication styles, and team orientation. For example, in certain cultures, communication is much more indirect, and relationships are much more personal, than in others. How do these norms impact organizational and leadership culture? What leadership and communication styles are valued at work, and how do diverse individuals navigate work culture with their own personal norms to create success for themselves and the organization? This session will explore how cultural diversity impacts organizational and leadership cultures.
At the conclusion of the session, attendees will be able to:

• Understand multiple leadership and communication styles
• Explore how culture impacts individuals, as well as the organizational and leadership cultures
