As more and more health care providers move towards electronic storage of health records, a huge collection of data on health is now at hand. This can help drive data insights for better medical underwriting (UW) and pricing by applying data science. In this session, the presenters will talk about some of the techniques, applications and limitations as well as concerns on proxy discrimination.
At the conclusion of the session, attendees will gain an understanding of how electronic health records could be a key component of future underwriting and pricing.
