Research Projects in Disability

The Society of Actuaries' Health Section is pleased to make available an update to a research report on the offset of benefits for group LTD plans. As with the earlier study conducted in 2008, this report details data from a number of carriers on the percentage of LTD claimants who are receiving disability benefits from other sources that offset their LTD benefits and how this percentage is affected by various factors. The report was authored by Robert Beal and Tasha Khan of Milliman, Inc.
