Society of Actuaries CEO Greg Heidrich Nominated for Secretary-Treasurer of Association Forum

Schaumburg, IL, January 25, 2021—

The Society of Actuaries (SOA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Greg Heidrich, has been nominated as secretary-treasurer of the Association Forum, a Chicagoland association industry. Heidrich will serve a one-year term on the Association Forum’s Board of Directors. The Association Forum provides members with resources, education and networking opportunities that enhance and elevate the association management profession.

Having served as the SOA’s CEO since 2007, Heidrich provides management, oversight and direction to the full range of the SOA’s activities. He supports the SOA Board of Directors, including its efforts with the long-term growth strategy in helping advance the actuarial profession.

Heidrich kicked off his career in 1983 as staff economist, director of research and various management roles at the Alliance of American Insurers. Heidrich was senior vice president, policy development and research, for the Property Casualty Insurers Associations of America, where he worked with member insurers to develop public policy positions and research on issues facing the U.S. property and casualty insurance industry.

Over the years, Heidrich has volunteered for a variety of non-for-profit organizations and professional associations. He served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Portico Benefit Services, a non-profit organization that provides employee benefits for employees nationwide of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Association Forum and is a member of the Key Professional Associations and Key Global Associations Committees of the American Society of Association Executives.
