Credit insurance, long the mainstay in this venue, is being supplanted by a vast array of products designed to meet the particular needs of borrowers without the encumbrance of regulation. This session discusses the activity in this segment of the insurance industry as well as concepts that might transfer to other related instruments.

Description: This is a request for company participation in the first modern claim termination study for credit disability and credit involuntary unemployment insurance.

Description: Report of the Task Force to Recommend Morbidity Standards for Valuation of Credit Disability. The key recommendation was that a new morbidity standard for valuation of policy reserves be adopted based on the tables developed by the Task Force. The tables are developed from the 85CIDA tables with incidence rates increased by 12%.
