Description: Many professions in the US recognize that minority under-representation is a real weakness in an increasingly multicultural world. The actuarial profession in the US has acknowledged this problem. However, acknowledging the problem is only the first step in solving it. This article sets out the level of commitment that will be necessary to SOLVE the problem, based on empirical research that the profession itself sponsored.
