During its discussions, the council reaffirmed the section’s mission “to identify and promote new opportunities, skills and new ways of thinking to help actuaries excel on their career journeys” and established this as the primary section goal for 2006 to increase membership value.

Description: Actuary of the Future Chairman reviews the initiatives for the coming year including monitoring the continuing progress of the Personal Actuary Task Force, the establishment of the Younger Actuaries Network, and the identification and communication of emerging issues and trends.
